Well, a friend ask me to make her a banner and i came up with this lovely coloring. Made in Adobe Photoshop CS2 in just 5 simply steps!

Go from this to this



1. Open your image and crop it.

2. Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Brightness/Contrast and select contrast to +17.

3. Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Selective Color and change the settings to:
Reds
Cyan 0%
Magenta 0%
Yellow +24%
Black +30%

Yellows
Cyan 0%
Magenta 0%
Yellow +61%
Black +0%

Cyans
Cyan 0%
Magenta 0%
Yellow +25%
Black +0%

Blues
Cyan +68%
Magenta 0%
Yellow +0%
Black +51%

Neutrals
Cyan +34%
Magenta 0%
Yellow 0%
Black 0%

Of course, depending on your image I recommend to play a little bit around with the settings.

5. Add a new layer and fill it with #000000 (aka black).

And you're done!
